To create an essay with images generates distance between us, by definition, and an order or an a priori unity; in other words, distance between the illusion of a previous order, lost and possibly restorable. This premise presupposes three basic conditions: a) to produce a form subject to its process of creation, b) to unfold a mobile, multiple, configurable self in place of the stability of a personal identity c) taking into account that what the budding subject knows about itself is not useful, knowing oneself in relationship to the world is the reason why it experiments, understanding knowledge as never outside of the discursive framework that the essayist constructs. From this line of inquiry, the present work reflects upon the notion of subjectivity that the essayist produces; the spatio-temporal constructions that this notion supposes, and the meanderings and formal hybridizations with which that subjectivity expresses itself.
